Mood: Lonely

I've decided to keep submitting here, because I still do have equine art urges sometimes, even though I hardly ever submit anything, and there's not much point having both galleries full of horses.

Sorry I've been so indecisive! So, there will be more art, hopefully, and less angst about what to draw. It doesn't matter if I don't really know what I want to do with art yet, I have enough on my plate with art school as it is.

I'm in for a rough week... four assessments to be handed in by friday. One essay done, one more to do, a half-done 36x48 landscape painting to finish + studies, and many paintings and a visual diary (*shudder* - I hate those things! Not all artists are super-organised and want to write down everything they do as they paint!) for a class that's finishing this week.
We need a minimum of 80% attendance to pass each subject. Now, technically, 80% of this little elective is 7.2 days. I was sick on one day and one afternoon, so I'll have been there 7.5 days. Technically, I'm fine. I'm hoping it'll be alright, and I've done extra work to let them know I'm serious about the class. I'm still nervous about it though. (I'm such a little goody-two-shoes.

) If they don't accept that, I'll need to pay $150 to do another elective, if they'll let me, and I heard they're not letting any more people do that.

Eek. I've gotten this far, I don't want to screw up now!

I'm alright in general otherwise, except that I miss everyone.

I haven't been around here, and I haven't seen or talked to real life friends for weeks.

To those who have watched me or added any of my work to your favourites lately, I'm really sorry I can't keep up with messages right now, but thank you!

Argh I absolutely know how you feel at the moment. Same here! I have three exams and one essay in the upcoming two weeks, two essays already finished, hoperfully succesfuly... at the moment things with school are quite uncertain as I do not know whether I will pass this year or have to do it again. It would be a shame if I had to do it again as I already got this far and actually one year is left until I am done with school. I have had a lot of trouble with one of my teachers (unfortunately he is teaching me chemistry and music) because he is giving me unfair marks and does not treat me the way he is supposed to do it.... which basicaly means running me down infront of the whole class *sighs*. My marks are good except the marks he has given me so far. Well, guess I have to wait and see what happens.
I am wishing you good luck for the upcoming essays and hey, believe in yourself Bron!

You know you kick ass and your art is beyond speechless so why worry!?

I see no reason why you shouldn't pass... you've been there enough days for sure.

You sound stressed, don't worry, you'll do fine.

I miss you too dear, take it easy, keep working...and keep your chin up, don't forget to smile from time to time. Your friends will still be here when you have time to catch up, I hope you can get together with real life friends soon. Loves,

I did finish all the work for the class (albeit by painting frantically on the last day)... and I gave them my sweetest smile and thanked them for an interesting course at the end day.

So... hopefully it'll be alright.

Everyone else's work just looked like it had so much more effort put into it though!

Well, it is better, now it's the weekend... I stayed up to about 2am every day that week, and didn't go to bed at all Thursday night/Friday morning.

I'm feeling almost back to normal now.

Good luck dear! That's so unlucky to have him for two subjects, I don't know how you survive.

Is there any way you can talk to him and ask him why he is being harsh on you? I'd be afraid to confront them though. Is it just a personal dislike, or do you think you could get him to change his mind by acting a little different?
I had trouble with a few teachers, in science and physical education... they thought I wasn't committed or something, and I was a little bit argumentative... so I started always being early for class, and got my friends sitting in the front row or close to it, making sure I knew the material really well and answering as many questions as I could. It sounds lame, but teachers really do appreciate attentiveness, and it worked wonders.

I finished off the essays, though I didn't go to bed the night before they were due! And I was frantically painting canvases for the class that was ending, on the day they were due. Hopefully that class will turn out alright.

I worry because I'm really not suited to the school. It's hard to get my head around what they want us to do!
